SANDUSKY, Ohio - If you love Cedar Point but can't stand the long lines, the Sandusky amusement park has announced some good news.
Fast Lane, which allows people to skip to the front of the line for 20 rides, will return in 2013.
Cedar Point will not release statistics on how many people purchased Fast Lane tickets in 2012, but a spokesperson said the option was very popular among guests.
The park sets a limit on the number of Fast Lane passes it distributes on a given day, so that riders who pay for a shorter wait benefit from shelling out extra cash.
Passes cost $65 for one guest, $60 for two guests, $55 for three guests and $50 four guests.
Those prices do not include the cost of park admission.
Fast Lane is available at these rides: Blue Streak, Corkscrew, Gemini, Maverick, Magnum XL-200, Millennium Force, Raptor, Top Thrill Dragster, Mean Streak, WindSeeker, maXair, Power Tower, Giant Wheel, Cadillac Cars, Dodgem, Shoot the Rapids, Wave Swinger, Troika, Turnpike Cars and Snake River Falls.
Cedar Point is also introducing "Fright Lane" for HalloWeekends. Passes allow visitors quicker access to four indoor attractions and six outdoor attractions through Oct. 28.
