Bond set at more than $3 million for suspect in Sandusky triple murder

SANDUSKY, Ohio - Bond was set at more than $3 million for the man accused of killing a Sandusky woman and her two young children over the weekend.

Suspect Curtis Clinton, 41, appeared in court Tuesday morning via video conference. He was arraigned on aggravated murder charges in the deaths of 23-year-old Heather Jackson, her 3-year-old daughter and 18-month-old son.

The full amount of his bond was set at $3,025,000.

The murders happened at Jackson's home on John Street. The children's bodies were found inside a closet and Jackson's was found stuffed between a mattress and a box spring.

Clinton's plea hearing is scheduled for Sept. 18 at 10 a.m.
