SANDUSKY, Ohio - A man is dead after crashing his motorcycle into a deer early Thursday morning in Berlin Township.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said 62-year-old Dale Brundage, of Berlin Heights, was ejected from his motorcycle at about 1:26 a.m. on Mason Road just east of Frailey Road after striking a deer in the roadway. He suffered fatal injuries as a result.
Brundage was not wearing a helmet, troopers said.
The crash is currently under investigation. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor, according to OSHP.
The deer was not located at the scene, however deer hair was found on the motorcycle.
