SOLON, Ohio - Police need help identifying a woman they say took a purse from the Solon Community Center.
Solon police said a woman, wearing white pants and a black hooded-jacket, left the women’s locker room at the community center with a purse on Jan. 25. The purse was taken from an unlocked locker, and contained jewelry and credit cards.
That same day, Solon police said the same woman was caught on video at the Sunoco Family Foods at East 93rd Street and Marah Avenue in Cleveland. Police said she was driving a 2003 to 2005 Silver Pontiac Grand Am.
Video was also obtained from the Sunoco gas station at East 116th Street and Union Avenue in Cleveland. The woman meets a minivan at a pump, then goes inside to pay for the gas using the stolen credit card, police said.
Anyone with information on the woman should call Det. Dave Morar at 440-337-1461.
