ROCKY RIVER, Ohio - Whole Foods Market will be opening a store in Rocky River in late 2014.
While details of the new location are still in the works, we do know the grocer will occupy a 37,000 square foot building on Detroit Road.
"It is our desire to be part of communities enriched with great tradition and values," said Ken Meyer, regional manager for Whole Foods Market. "We can assure you that the residents of Rocky River will have the opportunity to shop in a store that is custom-designed for them, offering the highest quality natural and organic product, while encouraging economic growth, job creation and community engagement."
Whole Foods Market already has locations in University Heights and Woodmere. The new store will be the first one on the west side of town.
There will be some retailer movement in the River Square Shopping Center to make way for Whole Foods Market, but all business will remain in Rocky River.
