CLEVELAND - The Elyria woman dubbed the “Cleaning Fairy” for breaking into a house and leaving a bill for tidying it up will not serve any time in jail.
A judge sentenced 53-year-old Susan Warren to one-year probation and 20 hours of community service Monday morning.
In October, Warren pleaded guilty to charges of attempted burglary and trespass in a habitation when a person is present. Police said she broke into a Westlake home on Dover Center Road on May 22, leaving a note for the homeowner on a napkin stating that she had cleaned the home and was charging $75 for her services.
The homeowner called the number left on the napkin and Warren said the door was open and she was desperate for money.
Warrant was arrested a week later.
If Warrant does not complete her community service, she will be fined $150. If she does not complete her probation, she will spend a year in the Marysville women’s prison.
