WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, Ohio - Warrensville Heights was the place to be Saturday for brides-to-be looking for an incredible deal on a wedding gown.
In addition to saving thousands of dollars, gown shoppers also helped families impacted by cancer.
Brides by the Falls, a bridal salon in Chagrin Falls, donated vintage sample wedding gowns to The Gathering Place cancer support center.
The gowns were put up for sale Saturday at The Gathering Place's warehouse in Warrensville Heights.
Wedding gowns normally priced between $2,000-$3,000 had reduced sticker prices between $200-$250.
All proceeds from the sale benefited free programs and services The Gathering Place offers to individuals and families coping with a cancer diagnosis.
"We are very grateful," said The Gathering Place director of community relations and marketing Kristina Austin. "It's amazing how people just always step up to the plate to help support The Gathering Place so that we can make sure our programs and services continue to be free of charge."
