EUCLID, Ohio - No boil alert and officials say the water is still safe to drink, but a 42-inch break on Glenridge Road in Euclid is impacting several communities.

Residents who live in some of the eastern suburbs of Cleveland may see discolored water from sediments that may have seeped into the system following the break. The amount of sediment is minimal and water is still safe to drink, officials said.

As of 2 p.m., officials have not received any reports of additional communities experiencing discolored water.

Crews continue to work to repair the water main as quickly as possible and don't expect an increase in calls. However, as a precaution, residents in the following communities may see the discolored water:

Richmond Heights
Mayfield Heights
Highland Heights
University Heights
Cleveland Heights
Shaker Heights
South Euclid
Lyndhurst
Beachwood

As a reminder, customers whose water may appear discolored should flush their lines by letting water run for 5–10 minutes, or until the water is clear.
