BROADVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio - Video shows a near mishap with a hot air balloon under windy conditions at an event in Broadview Heights this weekend.
The wind caused the RE/MAX balloon to sway back and forth – and it appeared the workers were scrambling to keep it from going anywhere. NewsChannel5 employee Brian Graziano captured video of the balloon.
After a short time, crews were able to finally get it under control. No one was hurt.
The balloon, which was at Brecksville Broadview Heights High School Saturday for the "Rush for a Cause" event, was offering free rides at one point during the day.
Thousands of people attended the fundraiser, which benefits catastrophically injured student-athletes.
