NORTH RANDALL, Ohio - Thistledown announced it will hold a job fair this weekend for the hundreds of positions it plans to add for its expansion to a racino.
On Thursday, the racino said it partnered with Cuyahoga County Community College to hold the sessions at Tri-C’s Corporate College East, located at 4400 Richmond Road in Warrensville Heights. The event will run Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Thistledown said it’s adding 600 team member to support the facility’s addition of video lottery terminals and an $88 million renovation.
The jobs will include:
- Food and Beverage
- VLT Services
- Racino Services
- Security
- Marketing
- Finance
- Human Resources
- Wardrobe
The racino said human resources staff will be at the event to give information about the available positions, benefits and the online application process. According to Thistledown, selected applicants will also be scheduled for interviews, which will take place every Thursday through February.
Thistledown said applicants must be at least 21 years old. No experience is necessary, as training will be provided.
