STRONGSVILLE - An employee at Strongsville High School has been placed on paid leave pending the outcome of a police investigation.
According to a Strongsville police report, officers were called out to the high school located at 20025 Lunn Road for a menacing report Friday, Oct. 12 at about 5:38 p.m.
At the school, Strongsville's Director of Business Services Mark Donnelly reported that one of his employees had a gun in his vehicle with a list of people he wants to shoot.
Prior to Strongsville police's arrival, the employee left the parking lot.
The school placed the employee on paid leave pending an investigation.
Strongsville School District's Superintendents' Office released the following statement Tuesday afternoon:
"The district is erring on the side of caution and the person in question has been placed on administrative leaving pending the outcome of an investigation. At no time during the situation under investigation was anyone in danger."
Strongsville Police will not release further information until the investigation is complete.
