SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio - A pedestrian trying to cross the street was hit by a car that fled the scene at the intersection of Mayfield Road and Warrensville Center Road Tuesday night.
South Euclid police said the pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and is currently in critical condition at MetroHealth Medical Center.
The suspect vehicle is described as a newer blue pickup truck with a possible red stripe on the side and a white plow on the front, according to police. They said the truck should have damage to the right front side, may have damage to the right plow light or fog light and may be missing some plastic pieces from its front
