SOLON - Better news for drivers in the Solon area. One lane in each direction of Aurora Road is now open. Aurora Road had been closed for much of Saturday, after a snow plow slammed into a pole, near Liberty Road around 6:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
Traffic remains slow in the area, with drivers using Pettibone Road as an alternate route.
Solon police said the snow plow was private and not a city plow truck. The Solon Fire Department responded to the scene as did crews from The Illuminating Company
