SEVEN HILLS, Ohio -

Several fire departments have responded to a house fire in Seven Hills.

Fire officials tell NewsChannel 5 that no one was in the single family home on Mapleview at the time the fire started.

No injuries have been reported, but there is heavy damage to the home.

Preliminary investigation reveals that an unattended fire pit in the back of the home may be to blame for the fire.

The official cause is still under investigation.
