CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio - A Cuyahoga Falls man perhaps got a little salty after eating his Wendy’s – so much so that police said he busted out the restaurant’s windows.

It happened Monday at about 5:45 p.m. when, according to Cuyahoga Falls police, 45-year-old Andrew Meiser didn’t just go home after eating at the Wendy’s at 460 Howe Avenue.

Instead, police said Meiser walked across the street to Home Depot, bought a six-pound sledgehammer, and then returned to Wendy’s, where he smashed out several exterior windows.

When Meiser was done, police said the damage and loss of business to the Wendy’s was estimated to be more than $4,000.

Police asked Meiser if he had a reason for his action and he did not.

They said Meiser was injured by the broken glass and taken to a local hospital but none of the customers eating in the Wendy’s were injured.

Police said charges of felony vandalism and inducing panic are pending upon Meiser’s release from the hospital.
