BEDFORD, Ohio - A pedestrian was hit by a Bedford City School District bus Wednesday morning.
According to Bedford schools, the woman was struck at Johnson Avenue and Woodrow Avenue around 7:15 a.m.
There was one student aboard the bus at the time of the crash. The driver and the student were not injured.
The victim was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center. Her condition is unknown at this time.
The driver was placed on home assignment pending an investigation.
The bus driver is a 30-year veteran with Bedford schools and had an impeccable record prior to Wednesday's incident.
