PARMA, Ohio - Parma police arrested a man who escaped while an officer was trying to handcuff him.
Mario Wiley, 24, of Cleveland, went into the Bureau of Motor Vehicles Driver’s License Reinstatement Office on Snow Road on Friday. Police said an off-duty Parma officer working at the office found out Wiley was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Parma officers searched for him with the help of the Cleveland Division of Police helicopter. According to police, Wiley was spotted near Bryant and Stratton College.
He was arrested in the area of Snow Road and West 130th Street. Wiley was charged with escape and resisting arrest.
