PARMA, Ohio - The city of Parma hosted their 3rd annual Ukrainian parade and celebration on Saturday.

A celebration following the parade took place at Ukrainian Heritage Park on State Road. It commemorated the 21st anniversary of Ukraine’s independence.

Parma dedicated Ukrainian Village in 2009.

Nearly 50 organizations, including high school bands, youth groups, churches and civic organizations took part in Saturday’s parade.
