CLEVELAND - Colozza’s Bakery in Parma is my unlikely source for paczkis on Fat Tuesday. Owner Angelo Colazza has a traditional Italian Bakery featuring  wedding cakes, special occasion cakes, pastries and of course very delicious very Italian cannolis.

You see, Angelo has a secret love for paczkis and only makes them once a year. In fact, on any other day that  Colazzas Bakery is open you can't even get a regular doughnut because Angelo doesn't offer them in his shop.

Angelo Colazza has perfected the recipe of this Polish delicacy and offers dozens of flavors that any customer, except for those on a low fat sugar free diet can enjoy!

A visit to 5880 Ridge Road in Parma, Ohio will make you a hero in your office this Fat Tuesday. But remember come early because when Angelo says “Stop Making Paczkis" the party is over and you'll have to wait until next year to indulge with another beloved Cleveland tradition.

Good Morning Cleveland will be LIVE at Colozza’s all morning Tuesday. Tune in to see Josh Boose explore the history behind this Polish tradition and show off some yummy paczkis. Follow Josh on Twitter for updates all morning: @JOSHBOOSEWEWS.
