CLEVELAND - Greater Cleveland film buffs will have a chance to watch a foreign film, and then watch the Academy Awards together on Sunday.
The film and benefit, organized by the Cine Arts Cleveland, will start at the Cinematheque, inside the Cleveland Institute of Art. It will present the Cleveland premiere screening of a Swiss film, "Sister," at 4:30 p.m.
Afterwards, attendees will head over to Nighttown in Cleveland Heights for dinner, discussion and, of course, the Oscars.
John Ewing is the director of the Cinematheque. He says the $100 tickets will benefit the Cinematheque, which shows art, independent, and foreign films 50 weekends a year.
Tickets to the watch party are still available.
You can purchase them online at Brown Paper Tickets, or by calling 216-421-7957.
