CLEVELAND - The MetroHealth System is now providing patients with a one-stop health center for spine care.
The Spine Center will bring together specialists in pain management, surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation to allow patients to see several specialists in one appointment.
MetroHealth representatives said the specialists will work together to provide an individualized care plan for patients to ensure they receive care from the most appropriate specialist.
Medical Director of the Spine Center Dr. Michael Steinmetz said once the plan is completed, the Spine Center will continue to work with the patients as they return to their primary care physician.
The Spine Center will initially be located at the MetroHealth Medical Center during normal operating hours.
