NORTH ROYALTON, Ohio - A man with gold teeth robbed a North Royalton bank and got away with about $4,000 on Tuesday, police said.
The bank robbery happened at about 11:10 a.m. at the US Bank at State and Sprague Roads.
North Royalton police said a man in his late 20s walked into the bank and up to two tellers. The robber told them to empty their cash drawers and he pocketed about $4,000 in cash before fleeing, police said.
Bank employees called 911 and the bank alarm system also alerted North Royalton police. No weapon was seen during the robbery, police said.
The man was wearing a white baseball cap, a white T-shirt and dark-colored pants. He had a dark complexion, a thin build and gold teeth, according to police.
Police used a reverse 911 call to alert the community of the robbery. North Royalton officers also used canine units to search for the suspect. No arrests have been made and the bank surveillance video has not been released.
Anyone with information should call the North Royalton Police Department at 440-237-8686.
