SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio - A man died Sunday morning after a fight at a home on Princeton Blvd. in South Euclid.
South Euclid police said they were called to the home just after 9 a.m. for a domestic altercation.
Officers determined there had been a fight and a 30-year-old man was taken into custody.
The man’s mother was injured in the incident and transported to Hillcrest Hospital. She is expected to make a full recovery.
Oliver Diggs, 61, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A relative told NewsChannel5's Kristin Byrne that the suspect got into a fight with his mom and his father stepped in to help.
The relative also said that the man taken into custody battled mental issues and drug use.
No criminal charges have been filed at this time.
