EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio - A large fire burned at an abandoned apartment building in East Cleveland closing part of Euclid Avenue early Wednesday morning.
The fire was first reported just before 1 a.m. Wednesday at the building on Wymore Avenue.
As of 2:45 a.m., fire was still shooting from the roof. Firefighters from East Cleveland, Cleveland Heights and South Euclid at the scene used tower ladders to fight the fire.
Euclid Avenue is closed between Lee Boulevard and Rosemont Road.
