LAKEWOOD, Oh - An 18-year-old man is under arrest following a break-in Saturday morning in Lakewood. According to Lakewood police, it happened just after 8 a.m. Saturday.
A resident of a home along Lake Road surprised the suspect, who then took off. Lakewood police say officers spotted the suspect a short time later with police running after the teen. After a short chase, officers caught the suspect just down the road from the victim's home.
Lakewood police have not released the suspect's name, but say he entered the home through an unlocked door. Investigators tell NewsChannel 5 no one was injured in the altercation.
