LAKEWOOD, Ohio - Several Lakewood pizzerias are getting ready to compete in a pizza bakeoff.
The Kiwanis Club of Lakewood is hosting the bakeoff at Lakewood High School’s east cafeteria from 5:00 to 8:00 Thursday night.
Tickets can be bought at the door: $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under.
Sixteen Lakewood pizzerias are competing: Angelo’s Pizza, Dewey’s Pizza, Domino’s Pizza, Donato’s of Lakewood, Georgio’s Oven Fresh Pizza, Geppetto’s Pizza & Ribs, Hungry Howie’s Pizza, Nunzio’s Pizzeria, Papa John’s, Pepper’s Italian Restaurant, Pit Stop Pizza, Pizza hut, Players on Madison, Roman Fountain Pizza, The Roof Café, and Tommy’s Pizza and Chicken.
The competitors will offer as many slices as customers want. Customers will vote for the overall best, the best pepperoni, and the best specialty pizza.
