UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio - John Carroll University's Blue Streaks will be participating in the Global Ireland Football Tournament on Friday August 31. They'll be competing against St. Norbert College.

"About one third of the guys have never flown before and two thirds have never been anywhere internationally" said Regis Scafe, head coach at John Carroll University football.

This marks the sixth time that John Carroll has been to Europe since 1994.

"This has been in the works for two years. The beginning of the new season is always exciting and now we're going to Dublin. It's hard to describe how excited everyone is," said Scafe.

Family, fans, and alumni will be able to purchase live webcast coverage of the John Carroll vs. St. Norbert’s college game to be played on Friday, August 31 at 7:30 p.m. GMT (Ireland), 2:30 p.m. EST.
