Four Lakewood businesses promote local

LAKEWOOD, Ohio - Four Lakewood business owners are joining forces to promote local commerce just in time for Valentine's Day.

Carol Lynn Salon Plus, Crafty Goodness, Goddess Blessed and Metro! On Madison are working together to urge area residents to buy local. The promotion runs now through February 11th. Pick up a Madison Avenue Passport, stop in all four stores, get the passport stamped and shoppers are registered to win a basket filled with local products. There is no purchase necessary. Organizers said for every $100 spent in Lakewood, $68 stays in the local community.

The locations of each shop are:

• Carol Lynn Salon Plus, 15410 Madison Ave.

• Crafty Goodness, 15621 Madison Ave.

• Goddess Blessed, 15729 Madison Ave.

• Metro! On Madison, 15220 Madison Ave.
