BROOKPARK, Ohio - Brook Park firefighters battled a house fire in the 15000 block of Bowfin Boulevard just after 1 a.m. Wednesday.

According to firefighters, everyone living inside the home was able to escape uninjured with the assistance of Brook Park police officers who were first to arrive.

The entire second floor was completely on fire when firefighters arrived and heavily damaged by fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation but is not considered suspicious, according to firefighters.

No injuries to firefighters were reported.

Brook Park was assisted by Parma Heights, Middleburg Heights and the Cleveland Hopkins Airport Fire Department.
