WESTLAKE, Ohio - Westlake firefighters battled a fire in a commercial building on Dover Center Road. That fire began in a building along the railroad tracks that border Bay Village around 11 p.m. Thursday.
According to firefighters, the building houses a painting business.
When firefighters arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from the building. Firefighters said they were able to stop the fire quickly and that not much damage was done to the building.
Investigators will be back Friday morning to determine a cause.
No one was at the business during the fire.
Bay Village, North Olmsted, Rocky River and Avon fire departments assisted Westlake.
