CLEVELAND - A sixth bank robbery in the Cleveland-area has now been linked to five previous robberies in the same area.

The FBI said the string of robberies began on Oct. 26, with the latest robbery taking place late Tuesday afternoon at the Huntington Bank on East 185th Street in Cleveland. "Usually somebody is doing one or two. This guy has done six in less than three weeks. So, we're having a couple a week by the same individual," said FBI Special Agent Vicki Anderson.

According to the FBI, the suspect gives a note to the teller demanding cash and letting them know the bank is being robbed and that he had a gun.

Nobody has been hurt in the robberies.

Anonymous tips can be provided to the Cleveland FBI office at (216) 522-1400.

Reward money is available for the successful identification and prosecution of the person responsible for the robberies.

The FBI has linked the suspect to robberies at the Dollar Bank in University Heights, an Ohio Savings Bank in Cleveland Heights, a PNC bank in Cleveland, a Citizen's Bank in Lyndhurst, a Key Bank in Cleveland and a Huntington Bank in Cleveland.
