CLEVELAND - Cleveland police are looking for information after a deadly weekend shooting at an east side business.

An employee at Well's Fashion Clothing store was fatally shot Friday evening during a robbery. Police and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office have not released the identity of the victim, but people in the neighborhood refer to him as "Will."

According to Cleveland police, officers were called out around 7:55 p. m. to 14304 Kinsman Ave. for a robbery with a man shot.

Fourth district officers arrived to the scene and found the 54-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his chest. The victim was transported by EMS to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he later died from the injuries.

Police said two suspects attempted to rob the store and as the suspects were fleeing, the store owner attempted to chase them down. During the pursuit, one of the suspects shot him.
