CLEVELAND - Gunshots early Sunday morning lead to a homicide.
Cleveland Police are investigating a fatal shooting at East 118 th and Kinsman.
Officers responded after receiving a call for shots fired in the area.
When police arrived on scene, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds and was unresponsive.
EMS was called to the scene and took the victim, a black male in his 40’s, to MetroHealth Medical Center.
The victim died at the hospital.
Witnesses tell police that they heard several shots, then saw a man lying in the street and an SUV leaving the scene.
The suspect’s description is unknown, and no arrests have been made.
The official cause of death will be determined by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office.
