The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo's 12,000-pound African elephant, Willy, enjoyed a tasty fall treat Thursday.
Zoo keepers surprised Willy with a 384-pound pumpkin, in which he promptly crushed and ate for a pre- Boo at the snack.
The zoo's four female elephants also snacked on a selection of more normal size pumpkins.
Boo at the Zoo is a great opportunity to experience the park after dark and see some of your favorite animals in a whole new (Halloween) light including grizzly bears, wolves, tigers, lions and elephants. Boo at the Zoo transforms the Zoo into a spooky safari with decorations, lights, music and special activities just right for younger guests.
