CLEVELAND - The Association of Cleveland Fire Fighters Local 93 Christmas Toy Drive is under way, running now through Monday, Dec. 17.
The Cleveland Fire Department is accepting donations of "brand-new, unwrapped" toys that will be donated to less fortunate children for Christmas. Monetary donations will be accepted and will be used to purchase toys.
Checks should be made out to Association of Cleveland Fire Fighters Local 93.
Saturday, CFD hosted their Annual “Fill the Fire Truck” event at the Steelyard Shopping Commons shopping center. Toys and money are accepted at the event, which ran until 5 p.m. Saturday.
The Cleveland Fire Department asks that residents join the department in making Christmas special for less fortunate children.
