KENT - Stark County's most famous football rivalry will faced-off one last time during Saturday night's OHSAA Division I Region 2 High School Football Semifinals.

Canton McKinley and Massillon Washington High School have been playing each other since 1894 in what's historically been called the "War of 1894."

The two teams will squared off at 7 p.m. at Kent State University's Dix Stadium.

In their last outing on October 27, Massillon beat McKinley 37-24 .

Saturday, Massillon won again 28-19, but it was the history of the rivalry that prevailed over Saturday's game.

In that history, Massillon Washington won 65 times and Canton McKinley recorded 52 wins. There have been 5 ties since 1894.
