LAKEWOOD, Ohio - Police were called out to Lakewood High School on Thursday after two bullets were found in the school's hallway.
Authorities seized the bullets as evidence. There are no suspects or arrests at this time.
Lakewood City Schools released the following statement Monday night:
"Late last week, staff members found two .22-caliber unused bullets at Lakewood High School. The bullets have been turned over to Lakewood Police and an investigation into the source of the bullets is ongoing. There have been no threats made relating to students, staff or school. The district places students’ safety as its top priority and will continue to cooperate with the Lakewood Police in this investigation."
Lakewood police continue their investigation.
