BROOK PARK, Ohio - Firefighters have controlled a fire in Brook Park that created traffic troubles.
The fire burned Monday morning at Valley Sterling Trucks, a trucking company on West 150th Street and Brookpark Road.
As a result, the intersection of West 150th Street and Brookpark Road and West 150th north to the I-480 ramp was closed for most of the day, according to Brook Park police.
Firefighters got word of the blaze at 5:52 a.m. from employees going into work. The fire caused thick black smoke, which firefighters said generally happens with petroleum-based fires. They also said tires in the building may have caused the black smoke.
There were no injuries as a result of the fire.
A cause is not yet known.
