Bowling Green State University student will compete on 'Let's Ask America' Tuesday evening

CLEVELAND - An audition over the summer has landed an 18-year-old Parma Heights woman a spot on national television. Tonight, Lyndon Adanich will compete to win up to $50,000 on "Let's Ask America."

"Let's Ask America" is the TV game show where contestants can win money from the comfort of their own home. Four contestants are chosen to play the game via Skype from their home, answering questions about fun and irreverent topics to find out what people are thinking.

Adanich, a Holy Name graduate now in her freshman year at Bowling Green State University, says she heard about an open audition at Wade Oval Park this summer and decided to give it a shot. She found out in September she had made the cut.

Adanich admits playing the game isn’t as easy as it may look on TV.

"The most difficult part about competing was everything was so fast paced," said Adanich. "You had to read the question and write down your answer right away. You also had to make sure you were holding the card up to the screen right -- it may not sound like a lo,t but it was crazy and I loved it!

Although Adanich competed from the comfort of her home, she says the most memorable part was meeting contestants from across the country and competing against them.

"They were all such nice people!" she said.

And this experience is one she says she will never forget.

"Thinking that I just stood in line at Wade Park thinking to myself, 'they won't pick me.' But here I am ... on the show," she said. "It is a crazy experience that I will remember for the rest of my life."
