The Aurora Police Department received a call from Aurora City Schools regarding a suspicious item located on a school bus Friday.
According to police, it was reported that a student turned in what appeared to be a .22 caliber bullet that a student found on the floor of bus #37.
Ahead of the discovery of the bullet, there were no known threats of violence against any students or staff members. an investigation was conducted by officers and detectives of the Aurora Police Department and school officials.
At this time, there is no suspect information and no information about how or why they bullet got onto the school bus.
