WALTON HILLS, Ohio - The Walton Hills Police Department is reporting an elderly white female who went missing early Saturday morning has been found deceased around 6 p.m.

Norma J. Reed, age 83, was last seen around 1:30 a.m. Saturday at her residence on Jefferson Drive in Walton Hills. Mrs. Reed suffered from a mental disorder.

According to police, Reed was found not far from her home in a shallow ditch. A K-9 officer found a black purse and pink shirt not far from where Reed's body was eventually located.

Police say that after some sniffing around, the K-9 sat down on the location where the woman was laying, buried by snow.

Details about her death are still under investigation, but the Walton Hills Police Department said it does not appear to be suspicious.
