American Greetings releases plans for new Westlake Crocker Park headquarters

WESTLAKE, Ohio - American Greetings released its building design plans for its new world headquarters, to be located in Westlake's Crocker Park.
The new Creative Studios A.G. building will be built to blend in with Crocker Park with multi-colored bricks, leased retail space on the first floor, and a plaza.
The overall shape of the building will be an open square with a 30,000 square-foot courtyard for American Greeting employees to use. Patrice Sadd, of American Greetings, said this feature will give employees an opportunity to work outside in a semi-protected environment.
The building will be accessible from Detroit Road, and Crocker Road. The 665,000 square-foot building was designed by RTKL architects. Groundbreaking is expected to take place next year.
