VILLAGE OF OAKWOOD, Ohio - The Village of Oakwood firefighters battled a fire at the Waste Management sort facility on Oakleaf Road just after 1 a.m. Monday.

According to the fire department, the fire was in the recycle section of the building.

Thick smoke was seen coming from the building as crews used a front end loader to move huge piles of trash out of the building.

The fire was under control in less than an hour.

No word on what caused the fire. No injuries were reported.
