BEREA, Ohio - An overnight crash in Berea stopped train traffic and closed a road after wires fell near the tracks.
Berea police said a car ran into an electrical pole at North Rocky River Drive at Depot Steet. Police said they believe the driver had a medical issue and crashed into the pole, bringing down some power lines.
North Rocky River Drive was shut down and four trains were stopped at the railroad tracks near the crash because wires were down and they couldn't get through. The road has now reopened.
A lineman with the Illuminating Company said the railroad track is a major track to and from Chicago.
