CLEVELAND - Cuyahoga County is planning two open houses for each of the 13 vacant properties for sale by the county, including the Ameritrust complex featured in the 2012 movie, "The Avengers."
The open houses are a part of the real estate program’s plan to efficiently use, and eventually sell, the county buildings ranging in size from 20,000 to 80,000 square feet, according to county officials.
The county will consider all offers that plan to use the property appropriately, limit environmental impact and represent a positive return to taxpayers.
Open houses are planned at the Ameritrust complex, formerly known as the Cleveland Trust Tower, on Tuesday, Aug. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Wednesday, Aug. 22 from 8 a.m. to noon.
To request information from the county’s real estate program manager, interested parties must complete and submit an RFP registration .
