STRONGSVILLE, Ohio - All across the U.S. and Canada, State Farm will be rallying communities to promote teen driver safety by hosting more than 360 events simultaneously on Sept. 15.
Southpark Mall in Strongsville is home to one of the largest events in North America and State Farm is encouraging area residents to attend the event to support teens as they learn to drive and get ready for the road ahead. At the event, teens also will be able to participate in safe driving exhibits and rallies.
Good Morning Cleveland's Macie Jepson will be MC'ing the event.
Several local high schools are participating in the upcoming celebration at Southpark Mall. Interested community members can show their support for these schools by voting for a local high school to win a $100,000 grant at celebratemydrive.com between September 10 and September 15. State Farm is giving a total of 14 $100,000 grants to high schools across the U.S. and Canada.
One lucky Cleveland-area teenager (15-18) who enters at the Southpark Mall will win the grand prize, a brand new Chevy Sonic LS.
A total of 14 cars will be given away across the U.S and Canada (complete rules are available at www.celebratemydrive.com/rules ).
Also at the Strongsville event, Kyrie Irving from the Cleveland Cavaliers will be on hand to sign autographs, there will be interactive activities, community partners and fun giveaways.
