BROADVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio - Giant Eagle will open its newest grocery store in Broadview Heights at 7 a.m. Thursday morning.

The new 83,000 square foot store is located at 4343 Royalton Road in Broadview Heights just off Interstate 77.

The store will feature a solar roof with a tubular solar array and skylights that will offset the store’s need for electric lighting.

The store will also feature a sitdown cafe, Huntington Bank branch, cheese shop, and state liquor agency.

A ribbon-cutting will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday morning. The new store will employee about 250 people.
