76-year-old missing woman found safe

CLEVELAND - A 76-year-old missing woman has been found safe.

An employee at a group home reported Sarah Powell missing Thursday at 6:45 p.m. The home is located at 12602 Forest Avenue.

Powell is described as a black female, 76 years of age, 5'5", 165 lbs, last seen wearing a teal sweater and blue jeans.  

In a news release, police said they've checked with friends, family members, neighbors, area hospitals, and nothing has turned up.

The Cleveland Division of Police is asking that anyone with information contact the Fourth District at 216-623-5400.
