AVON, Ohio - Cleveland Browns offensive tackle Joe Thomas spent Tuesday morning in class with students at Holy Trinity Elementary in Avon.

The school won a contest, put on by Verizon Wireless. It participated in a show-and-tell with the NFL sweepstakes. Students ages 6 to 13 could enter to take an NFL player to school.

Sweepstakes winner Connor Roddy met Thomas, introduced him to the class, and shared facts about him with fellow students.

Thomas also spoke to the students about his own health and fitness habits, and making good food choices.
