WESTLAKE, Ohio - A 75-year-old Westlake man was treated at a local hospital for scrapes and a puncture wound after being attacked by two American Bulldogs on Sperrys Forge Trail.
Police in Westlake said he was taking a walk on Jan. 10 at 4:30 p.m. when the dogs charged him. Authorities said the dogs escaped from a Sperrys Forge Trail garage. The owner of the dogs agreed to remove them from the city.
Meanwhile, an Animal Control officer is following up concerning the dogs' shots, licenses and being out and about, unleashed.
Animal Control is also speaking with the city prosecutor to see what, if any, charges should be filed.
